Digitising our flagship program

After our successful classrooms program in 2019, we at Wonder Girls are keen to use our learnings to create a version of the program that could work digitally for the benefit of our classroom partners during the current disconcerting times.

Our goals are the same: Bring relatable female role models to young girls and boys and help them become more confident and empathetic. We believe exposing kids to diverse and positive female role models is especially important during the pandemic.

The program will run its first course at iTeach schools in Pune in the 9th and 10 grade classrooms. As it was in its first edition, the program continues to be free of cost and will serve as an important value addition to the students.

Manasi Thacker

While Manasi was pursuing her Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Mumbai, she realized her true passion lies at the intersection of Developmental Psychology and Education, which led her to pursue a Bachelors of Arts in Education and Psychology as well. In her final year of University, she conducted and published a research report around the question: ‘How does space affect learning? What is the relationship between Curriculum and Space design?’. She wants to create environments and safe spaces which allow children to grow and thrive, which is what attracts her to Wonder Girls. At Wonder Girls, Manasi is responsible for scaling our flagship program.
